‘The Mark Chapil Project’, a heady mix of South African, U.S. and Columbian musicians, was formed in early 2009 and is gaining an international reputation with an eclectic blend of R&B, Funk & Soul with musical influences as diverse as the musicians themselves.
Featuring Charl ‘Babyboy’ Pilwan on lead vocals, Troy Brandon on keyboards and vocals, with Fernando Nohra on drums and percussion, the band brings all the passion and excitement of their respective cultures to the table in one explosion of musical flavours.
The band has just released a new album, ‘One Moment’, collaboration between Babyboy and South African musician Brendan Adams. Produced in the UK by Mark Wainwright, the album is a fusion of musical cultures inspired by the multicultural ethnicity of the musicians.
